Even though I live in the States, I have been following the EU response to the war refugee/migrant crisis. The U.S. is barely responding to the need to take in migrants, citing fears of jihadist terrorists sneaking into the country. The EU, on the other hand, has these needy human beings already breaching its borders.
Sweden is opening its doors and welcoming vast numbers of Syrians and other people fleeing for their lives from their homelands. Residents of Trelleborg in Skåne (Southern Sweden) have started a Facebook page* and a Facebook group for these newcomers, offering transportation and other help as they get settled. For a nation that has less than 10 million residents, this change in demographics will be profound, indeed.

I saw this on the BBC News App and thought you should see it:
Sweden offers no easy immigration answersSweden has welcomed migrants to the country, but that does not mean it has been plain sailing, says Shaun Ley.
